We thought about keeping Zoro to be our new stud and carry on Bogie One’s lineage but kept a\u00a0female instead. The good news is that while we kept him a bit longer we continued his housetraining and he is almost housetrained!\u00a0 He will use the puppy pads inside and\/or goes outside to potty. Zoro is absolutely hilarious. He likes to throw toys, play tug of war, and pounce. His sire\u2019s lineage is loaded with 41 champions in 6 generations and has some of the same bloodlines as Cosmo (probably the most famous Boston terrier of today).\u00a0 Bogie\u2019s lineage is from the Ri-Ja\u2019s and Sunwood bloodlines, some of which are behind Cosmo, CH Flashpoints Cosmic Ray ROM, Westminster\u2019s 2003 Best of Breed winner and Top Sire of the Millennium (according to the American Kennel Club).<\/span><\/h3>\n

About the “Haggerty dot”, from the Boston Terrier Club of America:<\/span><\/h3>\n

“One of the old founding lines of Bostons\u00a0way back in the early 1900’s\u00a0 was owned by the Haggertys.\u00a0 Many of their Bostons\u00a0were born with the\u00a0dot on the top of their heads, and the marking became associated with the line.\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n

Hence, when you see it, it is often referred to as a “Haggerty dot”, “spot” or a “Haggerty star”.
