LEN has a great personality. He is super playful and enjoys exploring too. Adorable Smidge’s size at 9.5 weeks<\/p><\/div>\n

Tiny Smidge is about as adorable as they come.\u00a0 He was born smaller than his siblings and was blessed with the small gene that runs in his family.\u00a0 His mother is 12 pounds and he has an aunt that is 12 pounds as well.His mother and aunt\u2019s siblings all grew to be about 17-18 pounds but he will stay small like they are. \u00a0He has a beautiful black and dark brindle coat with a full white collar, evenly marked front sleeves, and some white on the back of one of his ears. I love the symmetry in his markings. In his pictures here at 9.5 weeks he could easily sit in my hand. <\/span><\/h3>\n

At 12 weeks, he weighs just over 2 pounds. If you take a puppy\u2019s weight (small breed dog at 4 months of age) and double it, that is a good guestimate of their adult weight. \u00a0He may end up between 7-8\u00a0 pounds or if he really decides to become a piggy in the next 4-5 months, he may reach 9-10 pounds but I would be surprised if he grew that big. He can be ready to go after March 1st. He has had 2 Health Checks including patellas (8 wks, 12 wks) and I want him to have one more before he leaves.\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n

As you can imagine, with 2 teenage girls in the house, he is absolutely spoiled rotten and has been nicknamed Smidge just because he is a little smidgen of a fella.\u00a0 He loves to be carried around and spoiled like a baby.\u00a0 Don\u2019t get me wrong, he could keep his siblings in line and aspired to be the boss. He will rule the hearts of his new family, I am sure!<\/span><\/h3>\n

LANZ\u2019s beautiful coat is seal with a little bit of brindle. True seal according to the AKC is black that has a reddish tint in bright light. His full white collar, standard Boston mask covering both eyes and ears, white on all four legs, and white blaze between his eyes are all characteristics of his show heritage. <\/span><\/h3>\n

Love this precious little guy. He is this irresistible in person too! \u00a0Lanz at 6 weeks<\/span><\/p><\/div>\n

He also has a Haggerty dot on top of his head and his left side. This is traditionally seen on the top of the head but can show up somewhere else in the blaze or white collar. The Haggerty \u2018dot\u2019 or \u2018spot\u2019 came from Haggerty kennels years ago and is said by a well-known author and show ring judge to be the \u2018kiss of God\u2019 and icing on the cake as far as Boston markings go. It is still coveted today by many Boston terrier fans.<\/span><\/h3>\n

From the Boston Terrier Club of America ”\u00a0One of the old founding lines of Bostons way back in the early 1900’s was owned by the Haggertys. Many of their Bostons were born with the dot on the top of their heads, and the marking became associated with the line. Hence, when you see it, it is often referred to as a “Haggerty dot”, “spot” or a “Haggerty star”. Most lines can be traced to Haggerty stock ‘way back, and the dot pops out once in awhile in just about any of the present kennels. Vincent Perry, a very honored international all-breed judge, and highly respected Boston breeder who wrote “The Boston Terrier”, a book that went to at least 5 editions, called it “the kiss of God” and considered it the icing on the cake as far as perfect markings were considered. “<\/span><\/h4>\n

LEE is a sweetheart with an adventurer\u2019s spirit.\u00a0 He\u2019s a fairly busy guy with lots to do. He Loves to be held and gives crazy kisses showering his affection on whomever is holding him. I think he has a lot of his dad\u2019s energy and both parents affectionate personality. He enjoys all toys equally.\u00a0 Loves to start the bulldog games with his siblings and can be somewhat of a clown. He is hilarious to watch. Picture time was ALL about playtime and kisses.<\/span><\/h3>\n

LANI\u2019s coat is a gorgeous black and dark brindle. She has the traditional full white collar and a wide blaze that sets off her beautiful mask which completely covers her eyes and ears. Her chest is white and her front \u2018sleeve\u2019 markings are symmetrical. This is one of my favorite markings on a Boston because I just love the symmetry of the evenly marked legs.\u00a0 Her distinguishing mark is the blaze on the back of her head which forms sort of an \u2018arrow\u2019 shape pointing upward.<\/span><\/h3>\n

She is easy to work with during picture time and that can be an early indication of how easily trainable she will be.\u00a0 I love her fantastic markings and her balanced personality. Puppies with champion bloodlines on the sire’s side:\u00a0<\/strong>males 1300.00-1600.00 , females up to 1700.00<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

Puppies with champion lines on both sire and dam’s side will be priced according to pedigree, color, markings\/conformation, gender: generally $1500-$1800 males and $1700-2000 females<\/span><\/h3>\n

All puppies will have excellent personalities!<\/span><\/h3>\n

1. A puppy that has been bred with the AKC standard and a focus on excellent health and extended longevity.<\/span><\/h3>\n

2. Your puppy has also been bred with the goal of excellent markings, temperament, and personality in mind, and will be raised in our home, spoiled, and trained until leaving our care.<\/span><\/h3>\n

3. Six month written health guarantee against genetic issues that would make your puppy less than companion quality.<\/span><\/h3>\n

4. Optional 3 year health guarantee if owner agrees to keep puppy on recommended supplement.<\/span><\/h3>\n

5. Our Boston terrier puppies are taken to the vet for their dew claw removal and the vet’s first look at 3-5 days.<\/span><\/h3>\n

6. Each puppy has a head to tail examination just before leaving us. He\/she comes with a Health Certificate signed by our vet stating that he\/she is healthy.<\/span><\/h3>\n

9. Starter information from our research that will help you transition your puppy into your home and prepare him\/her for a life span of 4-8 years LONGER than the average Boston terrier. We call this your ‘homework’ and will send it to you while you are preparing for your new addition.<\/span><\/h3>\n

11. A non refundable deposit of half (or $500.00)is required to hold a puppy. We accept PayPal and credit cards through PayPal. If 500.00 deposit is made, then another payment of 500.00 is due at 5 weeks of age, and final payment due at delivery or 6 days before flight.<\/span><\/h3>\n

12. Although our deposits are non refundable, they are always transferrable to another puppy or a future litter.<\/span><\/h3>\n

13. A copy of our health guarantee can be sent before you make your deposit. We reserve the right to hold puppies for show evaluation. A show contract may be available for qualifying puppies and families for an extra fee.<\/span><\/h3>\n

14. Flights to the continental US may be available for an additional fee, estimated to be 325.00 as of January 2015 (if using Delta from our area). To shorten the flight time, a Delta Dash service can be added for 89.00. If a Delta flight is not possible, Continental may be used out of Atlanta and the cost would be 420.-450. as this is an 8 hour round trip from us.<\/span><\/h3>\n

15. If you are within driving distance, we would love to drive a reasonable distance to meet you and place your baby in your arms!<\/span><\/h3>\n

16. For those within driving distance, we also bring about 7-10 day’s supply of food so that you can see the portion size and how it is prepared. All of the written feeding info is sent via email before your puppy arrives as well.<\/span><\/h3>\n
