Our precious puppies of 2013 are AKC
Champion blood lined and gorgeous.
Bogie One Kanogie, the sire of these
puppies, has over 40 champions in
7 generations and comes from the
Ri-Ja’s and Sunwood bloodlines,
some of which are behind Cosmo,
CH Flashpoints Cosmic Ray ROM,
Westminster’s 2003 Best of Breed
winner and Top Sire of the Millennium (according to the American
Kennel Club). If you are looking for an exceptional Boston terrier
puppy from superb bloodlines, we hope that you will consider one
of our precious babies. References are available from some
families who have adopted from us.
ZORO ~ Adopted by Bob & Honey in NC to be a sibling for one of our Bostons previously adopted by them
900.00 AKC registration limited
Zoro, with his champion bloodlines, sports a beautiful black and brindle coat, full white collar, a great white chest and blaze, and white on his back feet. Just like his sire, his markings are fantastic!
We thought about keeping Zoro to be our new stud and carry on Bogie One’s lineage but kept a female instead. The good news is that while we kept him a bit longer we continued his housetraining and he is almost housetrained! He will use the puppy pads inside and/or goes outside to potty. He is also crate trained. We have done the hard part for you!
Zoro is absolutely hilarious. He likes to throw toys, play tug of war, and pounce. His favorite game it to ‘hide’ and then pounce on either his toys, siblings or nearby feet. He’s a very big snuggler and gives unending kisses. He’s definitely Mr. Sweetheart.
He gets along well with the other puppies and adult dogs.
Since weaning, Zoro has been on a very health home-prepared diet. We will give you the full details on this easy feeding method which is touted by the holistic experts as the diet for longevity. For those we drive to meet, we will bring about 7-10 days of his food
Zoro was the smallest in his litter but is proof that great things come in small packages. He will make a wonderful addition to the family and with his great looks and
super personality, he will surely attract attention and win hearts wherever he goes. We expect him to be in the 13-15 pound range full grown.
I think he will be the type that will live life to the fullest,
be happy to just be himself, and will joyfully take the happiness wherever he goes. His new family will be getting a treasure!
AKC VON ~ Adopted by Casey in Tennessee
AKC limited 1000.00
VON with champion lines and a beautiful black and brindle coat, is an exceptional little boy. His excellent markings are only surpassed by his outstanding personality. He is being family raised in our home (we are not a kennel), spoiled, and trained, and is used to children and normal household activities.
He sports an eye catching black and brindle coat with a great wide full collar, beautiful blaze, and symmetrically marked legs. He has a lower ‘haggerty’ type dot on the back of his neck. Just like his father, he carries himself like a champion.
Von is quite a character and is a ‘talker’. When we talk to him, if we pause and look at him as if waiting for a reply, he will almost always ‘answer’ back.
He’s very affectionate, gives
lots of kisses, and is quite full of himself. He loves to toss his toys around and then go get them.
His sire’s lineage is loaded with 41 champions in 6 generations and has some of the same bloodlines as Cosmo (probably the most famous Boston terrier of today). Bogie’s lineage is from the Ri-Ja’s and Sunwood bloodlines, some of which are behind Cosmo, CH Flashpoints Cosmic Ray ROM, Westminster’s 2003 Best of Breed winner and Top Sire of the Millennium (according to the American Kennel Club).
VON’s dam, Malley, now lives with my parents and brother and weighs in at about 22-23 pounds. Bogie weighed 15-17 pounds and we guesstimate VON to weigh approximately 17-20 pounds when full grown.
Below are Yatzi & Bogie’s babies and they are all spoken for.
Barley now Mr. Darcy~ Adopted by Amy in Ohio
1300.00 AKC limited
Barley is an exceptionally marked little brindle boy. His gorgeous brindle and white markings include a full white collar, tall white blaze, and evenly marked
legs/paws. Brindle is an AKC standard color but this exceptional brindle is a full-body brindle which will lighten up over time and will be stunning.
He is the calmest puppy of his siblings and very easy going. He enjoys playtime with some time for exploring. Barley’s personality is a lot like his sire who was a perfect gentleman, never had a bad day, and was just happy to be wherever he was.
Barley’s brindle color comes from his grandsire, Link (not owned by us). I think along with his great build and personality, he will probably be very easy to train. He’s a fine little gentleman in the making!
Banjo ~ Adopted by Mindy in NC
1500.00 AKC limited
AKC Banjo, with champion lines, is a beautiful black and brindle little boy. His fantastic markings include full wide collar, a white blaze and evenly marked legs/paws. His coloring looks black from a distance.
Banjo prides himself on being the largest of his siblings and the clown of the bunch. He keeps us entertained with his antics and is quite proficient at giving kisses on command! He seems like the type who will always live life to the fullest.
We expect Banjo and his siblings to be in the 13-16 pound range when full grown.
People will be drawn to him for his great looks but will be captured by his amazing personality!
Beanie ~ Adopted by Brian and Linda in Florida
1400.00 AKC limited
Beanie, with champion lines, sports a fantastic seal, brindle, and white coat. Her markings include a great blaze, a partial thin white collar and four evenly marked legs/paws.
Her parents’ excellent personalities and intelligence will surely be reflected in this little girl and she will be a wonderful addition to the family. We look forward to watching their personalities develop as they get closer and closer to their adoption day.
Our babies are weaned to a very healthy and simple home-prepared diet and we expect the puppies to be potty trained to about the size of one room by they time they go to their new families.
We are so excited that Beanie is going to a family who already has one of our precious little Boston babies.
Belli now Ginger, adopted by Bridgette in Tennessee
AKC limited
AKC Belli, with champion lines, is a fantastic little girl. She has an exquisite full-body brindle (not just a little brindle mixed in with her black) and her markings are a bit unique for a Boston.
Although we plan for traditional AKC markings, occasionally a puppy is born that insists on being unique. This usually means a great personality as well. Belli’s markings are what I call ‘Teddy Bear” markings. From the top, she looks like a little teddy bear.
While brindle is a standard AKC color, her full-body brindle is unusual and exceptional. She is symmetrically marked with that all-over fabulous brindle that comes from her grandsire, a beautiful wide blaze, white on her chest, and four long sleeves with evenly marked paws. Very symmetrical indeed! Her brindle will lighten up a bit as she gets older and she is sure to be a head-turn wherever she goes.
Her personality is exceptional just like her parents. She is full of spunk and loves to play hard, like her mother Yatzi, but is also the first one to come running to us to be picked up. Belli has a very confident personality and a great outlook on life. She
loves to give kisses, go exploring, and turn any situation into playtime. “Life is good” is her motto!
Poppie & Her Puppies DOB 6-22-13
Poppie is our grown daughter’s Boston. Bogie One is the sire of her outstanding babies (below).
Poppie is a very well mannered and obedient little lady. Even though she is spoiled, she purposes to behave and to be a good example. She is the sister of our ‘Chala’ and my grown daughter has raised her since she was 6 weeks old. Poppie weighs about 18 pounds. We expect her babies to weigh about 16-19 pounds.
Cheddar, female ~ Adopted by Phillip and Kasie in NC to be a sibling to a 2 year old Boston adopted from us
AKC limited 1100.00
AKC, champion bloodline Cheddar is an outstanding black and white little girl. Her markings are exquisite! If I were able to keep a puppy at this point, I would keep her and put her in the show ring. She definitely has quite a bit of potential!
Her beautiful black and brindle coat is highlighted by a perfectly shaped wide collar, a full beautiful blaze and even markings on her legs/feet.
She has an even temperament, very much like both of her parents.
Cheddar is not overly laid back nor is she too rambunctious. She seems to have a purpose and goes about her business with a quiet confidence. She enjoys playing with her siblings and showing off her spunkiness. She doesn’t start the bulldog games but will hold her own in the wrestling match. She loves all toys equally but is quick to find the ones with squeakers in them. Cheddar is a not a big time snuggler but would rather sit in our lap or sit right beside us. She will occasionally give us a kiss.
Pippi, female ~ Adopted by Billy in WV
AKC limited 1300.00
Pippi, with champion lines, is an exceptional little girl with a gorgeous black and brindle coat and fantastic markings. Her full white collar is accented by a full white blaze and evenly marked front and rear legs.
Pippi loves to show expression with her face and carries herself with an assurance that she will be able to accomplish all of her goals.
She’s definitely gifted with very strong nature. At 7 weeks, she already shows promise of being the alpha female, and even bravely takes toys from the grown dogs. Her favorite game is tug-of-war, go figure… Her most cherished toys are
rope toys, squeaky toys, and balls that she can chase.
Pippi is a ‘talker’ and will often talk back to us when we talk to her. She is doing well in her potty training (trained to the size of about one room), however she doesn’t appreciate her crate very much.
Nevertheless she is moving forward with her pre-crate training (which is where we crate her for a short time while we sweep, mop, fix dinner, etc.) She gives an abundance of kisses but is generally too busy to snuggle. Her motto is “Live life to the fullest!” She is a very smart little girl.
With her amazing looks, and optimistic outlook, Pippi is sure to be a wonderful addition to the family. In all of her enthusiasm, I believe she will be eager to
please her owners, but would probably do best with someone who will train her (or take her to puppy training classes). She will flourish if her new family is able to be consistent in her training and guidelines.
COCOAMIA ~ 2013
Cocoa is also our grown daughter’s dog and below her pictures are her puppies. Bogie One is also the sire of these amazing little babies (all adopted).
Coco is a beautiful girl who knows what she wants and is usually determined to get it. She is generally obedient and also very affectionate.
Being my grown daughter’s dog, she lives a spoiled life worthy of royalty. Mixing in Bogie’s laid back and amazing personality, these babies are already showing excellent personalities. We expect her and Bogie’s babies to weigh in the 15-18 pound range.
Cocoa is our Starbuck and Chala’s daughter.
Cocoamia & Bogie’s Babies ~ All Adopted
DUALLY adopted by Eli and Jenna in Indiana
1400.00 AKC limited registration
Dually sports a beautiful dark brindle coat. His exceptional markings include a full white collar, evenly marked front
and rear legs and paws,
a great wide blaze and a lower “haggerty” dot on the back of his neck. His handsome face and features are only surpassed by his fabulous personality.
What a charmer! His color will lighten up a little bit as he gets older and will be a beautiful all-over brindle color.
Dually is more outgoing than Diesel. He is also sweet and gives kisses but has a bit of a mischievous nature.
He loves to play tug of war with his rope toy and is somewhat of a show-off as well. Sort of a ‘look what I’m doing’ kind of guy. He likes to be held but enjoys exploring too. He’s just an all-around great guy with an energetic and busy personality.
About the “Haggerty dot”, from the Boston Terrier Club of America:
“One of the old founding lines of Bostons way back in the early 1900’s was owned by the Haggertys. Many of their Bostons were born with the dot on the top of their heads, and the marking became associated with the line.
Hence, when you see it, it is often referred to as a “Haggerty dot”, “spot” or a “Haggerty star”. Most lines can be traced to Haggerty stock ‘way back, and the dot pops out once in awhile in just about any of the present kennels. Vincent Perry, a very honored international all-breed judge, and highly respected Boston breeder who wrote “The Boston Terrier”, a book that went to at least 5 editions, called it “the kiss of God” and considered it the icing on the cake as far as perfect markings were considered.”
DIESEL – Adopted by Russell & Shaunda in Kentucky
1400.00 AKC limited registration
Diesel has a gorgeous true seal and white coat. Seal according to AKC is black that has a ‘reddish tint’ in bright light.
His excellent markings include a full white collar, a great wide blaze and evenly marked front and rear legs and paws. His nose will continue to ‘black in’ as he gets older.
Diesel is a super sweet boy and very much a cuddler. His personality is definitely like his father’s. He is more laid back than his brothers and
sisters but does enjoy a good game of rope-toy tug of war or ball chase with his siblings. Snuggling and being held is definitely one of his favorite things to do.
Diesel gives lots of kisses and is a real people person.
He will probably be one of those babies who is very easy going,
easy to please and likes to be right with his people. I suspect he will be like his father who would quietly go through the house keeping tabs on everyone’s whereabouts.
ELLIE ~ Staying with my grown daughter to carry on Bogie One’s Bloodline
Ellie is a beautiful true seal and white. True seal according to AKC is black that has a reddish ‘tint’ in bright light. Her exceptional markings include a full white collar, full white blaze, evenly marked front and rear legs and a ‘haggerty dot’ (that will close in somewhat).
She is a fun-loving and sometimes mischievous little girl. Ellie loves attention and is usually the first one to run to us when we come in the room. She is a talker and when we talk to her, she often answers back. She gets along well with her siblings and the other 4 legged children in the family. She has her independent side and loves the rope toy and tug of war. When we squeak her squeaky toys she does a little bouncy happy dance with her front feet. Ellie seems to love life to the fullest!

Madi – Adopted by Gonzalo and Maria in Florida
1400.00 AKC limited registration
MADI is a beautiful black, brindle and white with great markings and a super personality. Her head is beautiful with a full white collar, a great wide blaze, a haggerty spot, and ears that are already standing up. Her front and rear legs are marked well. We expect Madi to weigh about 15-17 pounds when full grown.
MADI is one of the more easy going girls of the bunch. She loves to be held and gives plenty of kisses and it learning to give kisses on command. She enjoys playing with her toys and romping around with her siblings but comes running up to us when we come
in the room. She’s right on track with her early house training (paper training and pre-crate training) and she is housetrained to about the size of one room at 8 weeks.

ALONTE’ with champion lines and a beautiful dark brindle coat has evenly marked legs and a great wide blaze. We expect this gorgeous girl to be about 16-18 pounds full grown.
She has the most easy going
personality of all of her siblings. Alonte’ does romp and tumble with them but doesn’t get overly feisty unless one of them plays too rough with her and then she ‘explains’ it to them and goes back to being her sweet little self. She enjoys being held and giving plenty of kisses and is learning
to give kisses on command. She’s right on track with her early house training (paper training and pre-crate training) and is house trained to about the size of one room at 8 weeks.
